Bike i ride: cc engineering 1977 xt500
Year i started racing flattrack: 2007 finished 7th in dtx class, restarted riding in 2011 in thunderbike class.
Why i race flattrack: love the sport and a great bunch of people to be around.
Previous racing experience: raced mablethorpe, speedway (2nd halves),enduro,moped mayhem and trials. i still enjoy trackdays on my fireblade, greenlaning on my crm, supermoto on my pitbike.
Most memorable result / race: qualifying to the main event at silverstone motogp round, only thunderbike to make the final at rhyl half mile and winning the 2012 thunderbike gnc and club championship.
What have you done to your bike to modify it for FT use: modifyied frame, wiseco piston, carillo rod, megacycle cam, head ported by myself, one off exhaust system(cc eng), 19" wheels c/w dtr1's, r6 forks, allens performance ignition, one off swingarm(cc eng), star bars.
